Tour Highlights: Acclimatization, Leh Market

Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh, our local tour representative will receive you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. As Leh is located at a high altitude (11,500 ft), the day is reserved for rest and acclimatization to avoid altitude sickness. Hydrate well and relax. In the evening, take a gentle stroll through Leh’s bustling local bazaar, where you can shop for traditional Ladakhi jewelry, handwoven pashmina shawls, prayer flags, thangka paintings, and Tibetan artifacts. The market is also a great place to sample local snacks and observe Ladakhi culture firsthand.
